TCM Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the longest existing medical systems practiced in the world. Originating in China more than 2,500 years ago, it takes a holistic approach treating the body as a whole, addressing the underlying root causes as well as the symptoms. According to TCM, our bodies are composed of interconnected systems including Qi, Blood, Body Fluid, and Essence. Your overall health is determined by the quality of the Qi (energy) flow through the natural pathways of your body (meridians). Imbalance and blockage in the system can lead to illnesses and disease. TCM treatments of acupuncture, herbal remedies, and dietary lifestyles helps restore balance in the body and benefit the mind, body, and spirit.
